Q: QuestionI am concerned about the not drain and spin ability mentioned in one of the reviews. Has this been confirmed? Can you wash heavy large items like dog blankets (with hair) in this machine?

Based on page 21 of this unit's installation instructions, we're seeing the following about drain requirements: The standpipe height above the floor should be: Minimum height: 24” (61 cm), Maximum height: 96” (244 cm). • A:Answer Hello Jeff - Thank you for your interest in this excellent new washer. The drain or standpipe should be at least 24" off but no more than 96". So 8 feet will be the maximum height for the drain. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA

Q: QuestionI bought a GE blue washer front loader with the vent system. I washed my pillows on the quick wash but now they are drenched in water, my last washer had a spin only function, does this washer not have that? If not then this will def be going back

Q: QuestionWill the13 inch tall pedestals from my older GE Adora washer and dryer fit this model? They appear to use the same mounting system.

Q: QuestionWe previously had whirlpool duet’s. When I had upgraded to the newest model, it was hard to wash rugs as the load would be off balance. My older duets had no problem washing a load of rugs. How does this GE Model do when washing a load of rugs?

We recommend following the washing instructions on the rugs when preparing to clean them and not to overload the washer. The dry weight of the load should not be more than 16 pounds. • A:Answer Hi Stuart. No, the pedestals are NOT included. However, they are storage units. The cost is approximately $279 , a bit expensive!! This unit 5.0 is quite large. Unless you have a significant size laundry room, I’d forgo the pedestals.
