Hi Mark - Thanks for reaching out to us! Amp Rating at 208V/240V is 40 (KW Rating at 208V=9.3; KW Rating at 240V= 12.4). The range accepts a UL Listed 40 AMP- 3 or 4 Wire Range Cord. amperage, no. The unit is wired to handle either 3 or 4 wire. Our outlet was already a 3 wire so we simply bought a 3 wire cord. Either would work. Hope this helps
