A:AnswerHi Kevin - Thanks for choosing GE Model JB655EKES! Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL-listed range cord. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250 minimum volt range is required. See “ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS” located in the Installation Instructions at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11105-2.PDF - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. A:AnswerHi Walt - Thanks for choosing GE Model # JB655DKBB! This appliance must be supplied with the proper voltage and frequency, and connected to an
individual, properly grounded, 40 amp (minimum) branch circuit protected by a circuit breaker or time-delay fuse (KW Rating at 208V= 9.3; KW Rating at 240V= 12.4). Check with your local utilities for electrical codes which apply in your area. We suggest viewing the Installation Guide at the following link for complete details: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11105-2.PDF - We’re glad to have you in the family. Enjoy! Sue
A:AnswerHi Doug - Thanks for choosing GE Model # JB655SKSS! GE Appliances does not package the power cord with electric free-standing ranges since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire). Choose a UL Listed 40 AMP, 4-Wire Cord 4’ long or 3-Wire Cord 4’ long. The range operates on 208V or 240V (40 Amp). Check with your local utilities for electrical codes which apply in your area. Also, we suggest viewing the Installation Instructions at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11105-2.PDF - We’re glad to have you in the family. A:AnswerHi - GE® 30" Free-Standing Electric Convection Range
JB655SKSS has Cook Time and Delay Time features. Cook Time counts down cooking time and turns off the oven when the cooking time is complete. You can program a cooking time in hours and minutes. Delay Time delays when the oven will turn on. Use this to set a time when you want the oven to start (A cook time may also be programmed with the Delay Time option if desired.) A:AnswerHi Deedee - In the Convection mode, the fan will cycle on and off and spins in one direction during fan operation mode. This is normal. Also, it will not operate while the door is open. Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue
