“Is there a way to LOCK the control panel and knobs? I see comments about sensitive controls here, and want to avoid the dangerous accidental "turn on" issue that occurred with our last electronic-touch stove.”

You can lock the buttons/control panel by holding the "cook time" button for 3 seconds. The burner knobs don't turn until pressed down and turned, they have a pretty strong detent to get by before they'll turn.

Please try again later.There is a control lock so that it can't be turned on accidentally I'm supposing for children but the oven will not turn on if you accidentally were to touch the oven control. You must push start in order to engage and after a minute you dont push start it cancels itself. Stove top knobs must be pushed down and turned in order to be on
