The sides do not sit on the counter, there is a small gap ~ 1/8 in between the sides and counter. Still I am not sure whether back counter strip of ~2.5 in should stay or to be removed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The back doesnt butt up tight to your back wall there is a grill type vent which is part of the stove that creates space for the venting system Dont cover that with a counter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because you have a cord and a 220v outlet the unit will not be flush. You probably have a base board of some kind as well. Installing a splash board at the back will keep things a lot easier to clean. Tile is a nice option.
