Hi Carol- Yes, the range has in-oven broil. The Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. On gas models, the gas flame height is the same for Hi and Lo Broil. The flame will cycle off more often when set to Lo Broil. Hi Broil gives a quicker broiling to sear in natural food juices. Recommended for thinner cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer less done on the interior. Lo Broil gives a slower broiling to ensure doneness without drying out the food. Recommended for thicker cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer cooked all the way through. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA

Well, not me, I don't cook. However, my wife does broil and the food has come out just fine.
