QuestionAre the knobs heavy duty? The last GE range I bought had cheap knobs which melted when the oven got too hot.

- Answer Hello, I am happy to help. The grates and griddle are heavy cast iron. While a center grate is not included, one can be purchased for use in place of the GRILL/GRIDDLE. - Answer YOU CAN PURCHASE THE FLEXIBLE LINE TO HOOK UP TO YOUR EXESTING GAS LINE. BUT IF YOURGAS LINE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO WHERE YOU ARE PLACING THE OVEN IT COULD COST OVER A $1,OOO. TO HAVE YOUR GAS LINE MOVED TO THE LOCATION WHERE YOU ARE PLACING THE OVEN.

QuestionWhile paying more attention to my 2 grandkids rather than the soup on the cook top, the soup boiled over onto the front right burner. Unfortunately the residue even after careful cleaning seems deeply imbedded. What can you suggest to clean this? Thanks

QuestionAre the range knobs safety lock type. The present range I have if you bump into knobs sometimes it turns on gas without igniting burner which is a safety issue ?

- Answer Hi Danny, this is a great question. For the safety of our customers, the knob must first be pushed in and turned to LITE in order for the burner to ignite. QuestionHave a Gas range that the oven temperature is Not very accurate. Purchased a temperature gauge and it worked for awhile and now it no longer is accurate! How accurate is the temperature in the GE ovens? Does the display show the correct temperature?

- Answer Hello Ovener - We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your current range. We would love to share more about this excellent model. The temperature of the oven is very accurate. Should you have issues with this, it is possible to calibrate by up to 35 degrees more or less. The display will show the temperature as it preheats and continue to show the set temperature when the setting has been reached. Please let us know if we can help with anything else. - JB

- Answer Hi Mike, Thank you very much for your question. We are finding that this unit has the ability to use Self Clean or Steam Clean, depending on which you are wanting to use. You can take a look at pg. 23 of your Owner's Manual for more details on how each cleaning style operates.
