Yes, you can use the broiler element in the top oven to toast bread.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Maryk- While the upper oven does not have a "toast" setting, it has a Broil Hi/Lo option that could be used to toast items. The Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. Hi Broil: Functions at 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a quicker broiling to sear in natural food juices. Recommended for thinner cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer less done on the interior. Lo Broil: Functions at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a slower broiling to ensure doneness without drying out the food. Recommended for thicker cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer cooked all the way through. Keep in touch! Sue
