A gas dryer can't be converted to operate on electric. We recommend consulting a qualified gas installer or licensed plumber for information as to how to remove or cap off your gas supply and how to ensure you have 220/240 volts needed for an electric dryer. We recommend calling the store directly for information as to what would the protection plan would cover.
