A:AnswerThe 10AWG wires in a dedicated circuit with 240V-30A means 30A is the maximum the circuit will allow. Appliances can use less; such as this dryer needing up to a maximum of 24A.
A:AnswerHi there! Thanks for your question. This dryer has a depth of 32" and does not require any clearances. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us online at this link:
Would this washer/dryer set fit in a 33” depth closet if it were stacked and dryer attached from the side?
We hope this helps! Emily
A:AnswerIt shouldn’t be loud. I got mine delivered 2 months ago and it made a loud sound and called customer care for a replacement and now it works great. No loud noise.
A:AnswerHello TJ - Thank you for reaching out about your stupendous dryer. We'll be happy to assist.
Most likely what you are experiencing is a build up of condensation from the heat inside the unit and the cold air outside. If this is excessive or occurs regularly, we recommend having your vents checked and cleaned to make sure it is exhausting properly. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for choosing GE Model # GFD55ESSNWW! The amps rating at 240V is 24A (5600 Watts). This dryer should be connected to an individual branch circuit with 10 gauge copper wire minimum through a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker. Install the clothes dryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes.
