“Want to use this as a wall unit. My walls are only 4” thick, the vents won’t be blocked, so I think it can work, however I can’t find a slide out chassis that will work. Do I need a sleeve or can I just build a support outside the house?”

Hi Tanz, Thanks for reaching out! This unit has been designed to be installed in a window. We would not recommend installing it as a built in unit into a wall. You can see the installation requirements on page 10 of your installation instructions. We hope that this helps. Stay safe.
