• Hey there, Congratulations on your brand new air conditioner! We'll be glad to answer your question! The noise you are hearing is due to the air circulation. An air conditioner must circulate indoor air to heat/cool the occupied space. Therefore, air noise will be heard when the fan is operating. If you have any concerns, let us know anytime. Mike@GEA
