Hello. We appreciate you contacting us – we do hate to hear you’ve had some trouble finding the right ice maker for your model, and know this may have been frustrating. The IM-4D would unfortunately not work with your model; we regret any inconvenience that may cause. The IM-4A is an older ice maker that is no longer being actively produced, but the IM6D kit is a current option that would also work for your refrigerator. That may be available with your preferred dealer, or you can find it on our GE Appliances Parts website; the Parts Department can be reached at 1-877-959-8688, if necessary. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Greg, yes I think so. You may want to call a GE distributor to make sure that the model # part is comparable. I also had the tech to deliver and install the unit with a new water line just in case there were issues so they could resolve any compatibility issues while being serviced under the Best Buy Install Agreement.
