“Is the outside of this microwave scratch resistant? I am returning a new Samsung because the control panel scratched so easily it was horrible. I am hoping this GE can be cleaned without scratching.”

Hi Ibuystuff - Thanks for considering GE Profile™ Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven PVM9005SJSS! While the control panel is not scratch proof, we suggest cleaning the control panel, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use cleaning sprays, large amounts of soap and water, abrasive or sharp objects on the panel as they can damage it. Some paper towels can also scratch the control panel.
