Just like a dresser drawer. Pull it all the way out than lift up slightly and pull.

If the freezer drawer is stuck closed and will not open, there is likely moisture that has frozen inside the freezer that is preventing the drawer from opening. This moisture can be a result of having the freezer drawer open with regular usage, or the freezer drawer left slightly open accidentally. To correct: Unplug the refrigerator and allow the freezer to defrost. This can take about 24-48 hours. Once defrosted, open the freezer and wipe any moisture dry, especially the rails that the drawer sits on. Allow the freezer to air dry 24 hours prior to plugging the refrigerator in. If the problem persists, we recommend service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737. Wishing you well. Mike@GEA
