“I just had this oven installed. When I use the bake feature in either oven the fan runs constantly. Is this normal? Is there a way to turn the fan off? I thought the fan was for convection use.”

Hello Kim, Great question! We first want to thank you for choosing GE Appliances. We'd be elated to help you with your convection wall oven. We found that the fan running after it is used is completely normal. The cooling fan will turn on to cool for 1.5 hours after the oven is turned off. If you believe your fan is making an abnormal noise or is running longer than 1.5 hours, we recommend scheduling service.
