  • QuestionDoes this range have true convection (an element behind the convection fan)?

    Asked by Kenken.

    • Answer No, this model doesn't have an element behind the fan. The convection oven utilizes a fan that circulates hot air over, under, and around the food. In this model, only the bake (lower) and broil (upper) heating elements are used in conjunction with the convection fan to supply the heat.

  • QuestionWhat type of pans can be used on the burners and in the oven?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Cookware used on the induction cooktop must be compatible with induction burners. If the bottom of a pan is magnetic, that pan can be used with induction. We recommend cookware made of magnetic stainless steel, cast iron, carbon steel, enameled magnetic steel or enameled cast iron. There are no abnormal restrictions on cookware used in the oven. We recommend viewing page 15 for cooktop cookware and page 17 for oven cookware in the owner's manual.

  • QuestionWhat material is the interior of the oven made… stainless steel, ceramic etc?

    Asked by Bentley.

    • Answer This model features a durable black porcelain enamel oven interior. It also includes a Steam Clean function, which is intended to clean small spills using water and a lower cleaning temperature than the self-clean cycle. It heats the water added to the bottom of the oven, and the resulting steam condenses on food soils, softening them and making them easier to remove.

  • QuestionIs it true that this range requires a 240V/208V, 40-amp dedicated circuit and that the plug configuration is a 4-prong (4-wire) NEMA 14-50P plug?

    Asked by GEfan.

    • Answer You must use a single-phase, 120/208 VAC or 120/240 VAC, 60 hertz electrical system. If you connect to aluminum wiring, properly installed connectors approved for use with aluminum wiring must be used. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL-listed range cord. These cords may be provided with ring terminals on wire and a strain relief device. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250 minimum volt range is required.
