A:AnswerWhen you turn the oven on an OVEN EXHAUST fan (you can see it as a “lip” at the rear in the pictures) will turn on (and off) all by itself. There is no explicit control. It fully manages itself. It is almost imperceptible from a noise perspective.
That aside, there is no “hood” fan (if you will). You will need an over-range microwave or dedicated hood for that. If you purchase a suitable GE microwave (as I have), the two units will employ Bluetooth to talk to each other (you have to pair them but it’s not hard to do so). This enables the cooktop to automatically turn the overhead fan and light on, when you turn a “burner” on (for example). I’ve never waited long enough to see if it will also turn the overhead fan/light off. It may do so, but I’ve never waited long enough (I just press the buttons on the microwave as I leave the kitchen). The oven exhaust, as mentioned, is 100% self managing (and only turns on when the oven is on … or is still warm from a previous use).
A:AnswerCooktop makes no noise at all, unless a particular pan has a vibration. I have tried the oven on air fry and didn't notice the fan noise at all. The oven is super well insulated.

A:AnswerThat's a great question! Sous vide is a method of cooking in which food is sealed in an airtight plastic bag and then placed in a temperature regulated water bath. This cooking method will cook the food more evenly, ensuring that the inside is properly cooked without overcooking the outside while also keeping the moisture in. We hope this helps! - Kianna@GEA
