Hi, Good question! We appreciate your interest in this model and we'd be happy to help with it's features. We found that this oven does have a Shut Off feature but it has to be turned on. When activated this option will turn off the oven after 12 hours of continuous use. Thanks for checking with us! -Sylvia@GEA
