So far I have not had issues with pet hair. It does get rid of all of it, but there is a significant decrease. I also use the bounty pet care dryer sheets in the dryer and that helps as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pet hairs are biodegradable and will degrade or break down in a septic system. Therefore, they do not pose a problem. However, a problem could occur if an excessive amount of hair enters a drain system that is already clogged with other matter. The hair could attach itself to the clogged drain residue. One tip to help with overall pet hair removal is to place items covered with pet hair in the dryer first for a 10-minute no-heat Air Fluff cycle, then wash them in the washer and dry them in the dryer as usual. The Air Fluff cycle will remove a lot of the hair, and it will loosen up the remaining for better removal in the washer. You may want to clean the interior drum afterwards.
