Why is the cleaning light flashing ? null

means it wants you to run a cleaning cycle.

Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us with this great question on your Profile Opal ice maker. According to page 9 of the owner's manual which is available online - after 100 hours of ice making, the "Cleaning" indicator will flash to let you know it's time to descale the ice maker. The flashing will stop once the cycle has finished. If cleaning or descaling your Opal doesn't help, we recommend you call 1-866-907-6718 to discuss your options. Wishing you all the best!
