No. Water is placed in the built-in reservoir or an attached side-tank. Doesn't seem like it would be an issue to have plumbed, but isn't marketed or designed for that.

But all that requires is for you to simply plug the line directly in to the side tank. But to repeat what i said no, no water lines are needed to use this unit.
