“I just purchased the machine and set it up and after cleaning the machine it started to make ice but I see Water dripping down the back of the ice bucket from the top is this normal? Its making ice just fine.”

Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us with your question. Some water from the inside part of the tank will be normal. On the use and care manual on page 13 and 14 it will show what to expect from your opal icemaker unit. If for some reason your Opal starts to not function properly or you have any other concerns that come up then you can reach the Opal support line at- 866-907-6718. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As the unused ice melts it goes back into the reservoir to make more ice. It’s perfectly normal. I store my ready ice in a bin in the freezer so I can turn the machine off after enough is made. This prevents the machine from constantly cycling. You can keep it on and continue to make ice if you wish. It is your preference.
