We certainly understand if you'd rather not connect your Opal to the Internet, and we can advise using our SmartHQ app would be part of the process; if you don't have that, the Opal likely will not connect to WiFi. If you're still concerned about the light flashing and making sure it doesn't try to connect to the Internet, we do have Connected Home Support at 1-800-220-6899 that may be able to assist.
