“Just bought our second Opal 01 Gen SS. Makes ice good but when you open the ice bin and take a scoop of ice out, it starts pumping a stream of water down the back wall of the ice bin, melting half of what’s left. Other one didn’t do this. What’s up?”

Having the same issue - jetstream of water pours into the bin every time you fill up the reservoir/unit starts making ice melting away most of the ice that remains...trying to determine if standard operating procedure...also stream behind the bin as well - which is normal.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looking for this answer as well, just got mine today and it makes 1/4 a bin of ice and immediately washes it away. Water will run for about 20 minutes. Will call customer service once they are open but this is appearing to be a faulty machine on day 1.
