Much like GE mentioned, it is likely air in the line. If you elevate the tank slightly higher for a few moments it will feed into the machine and release any trapped air. Additionally, ensuring the tank line is resting on the countertop and not feeding over the plug or any other object will help in maintaining an even flow, as well as refilling the tank before it has completely emptied.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. We hate to hear you're having an issue with your Opal side tank not feeding water to your ice maker. There may be bubbles in the tube connecting the Side Tank to the Opal if the tube is not laying flat. Try adjusting the tube to allow the water to flow. Once the water line is cleared, water should start flowing and should not need further adjusting. If this does not work, remove the Side Tank from the base and then place it back in the base. This should clear any air that is trapped. Please also review the installation steps in your manual for the connection of the tubing. If you continue to have difficulties, please call 1-800-432-2737 to discuss the warranty terms for your Opal. Wishing you all the best! Vikki@GEA
