I have not done this, but I have seen youtube tutorials of people who have. some that have to cut and modify parts of the opal ice maker and one that said no modifications needed but I never watched it. You won't find a manufacture guide to connect a water line but you can do it yourself. (you'd just void any warranty coverage and need to follow a tutorial)
