“Hi my machine is the ge opal ice maker 1.0,same as 2.0 but it has a button. But my machine keeps leaking from the bottom? Not from the two pipes but from the bottom so I haven’t left it in long enough to make ice what do I do?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey there - thanks for reaching out about your icemaker. During normal operation, condensation forms on the bottom surface of the ice bin. This water will sometimes collect and drip down the lower front surfaces of the ice maker. The included drip tray can be installed in front of the Opal to collect this water. If this doesn’t solve the issue, service may be needed. You may contact our Opal Support Team by calling 866-907-6718, or by submitting the Opal support request form on our GE Appliances website.
