• The cleaning issue can be fixed by using a tap filter (e.g. Brita) or a countertop RO filtration system. Once I started doing that, no more constant descaling or cleaning. The leak might be due to a hose plugged up from scale.

• During normal operation, condensation forms on the bottom surface of the ice bin. This water will collect and drip down the lower front surfaces of your Opal. The included drip tray can be installed in front of the Opal to collect this water.
