“I’m seeing some of these at an auction house that are listed as new condition.. 2.0 new models, unused, so I’m not sure why. If I purchase this there and it is new, can I still use/purchase GE warranty even though I do not have a receipt from a store?”

• Definitely not!! You can buy a outside warranty from many companies

• We don't offer extended warranties on Opal Ice Makers. We recommend if possible, to check and see if you can view the model and serial numbers on the back of the units. The serial number will tell you the manufactured age. (AA) would indicate it was manufactured in January 2025. Joyce@GEAppliances
