“We just purchased model #PEB7226SFSS microwave and the trim kit they sent is JX72430SFSS it does not fit our opening , it's too big overall. The opening is 24 7/8 w by 16 3/4 h. My cabinet for this unit is 27 3/4 w by 20"h . What trim kit fits this?”

Hello APB - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. Unfortunately, we do not offer a trim kit and microwave that will fit a cabinet opening of 27-3/4" wide x 20" high. In addition to the PEB7226SFSS, we also offer the PEB9159SJSS which uses a trim kit that requires a 17-1/8" high x 23-1/4" wide cabinet opening, and we offer the PEM31SF which uses a trim kit that requires a cabinet opening of 15" high x 24-7/8" wide. You may want to check with your cabinetmaker to see if they can modify your current cabinet opening. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
