“Does this need a trim kit for installation if I am replacing another model microwave? I have a metal holder that the old microwave slid into--does this new one come ready to place about a stove? Thanks.”

Hello! This is Lida with GE Appliances. You will need to purchase the trim kit designed for the new model. You cannot use the existing metal holder. Thanks for checking.
