Considering GE is all over this, I figure I will ask here. The cool air that is extracted from the "drying process", is this put into the surrounding air space. Could this essentially cool a small area with latent cooling? This is a very neat idea! null

We appreciate you reaching out and will be happy to explain the ventless drying process. Here are the steps in the drying process:

1.Ambient air inside the unit is heated by a heating element.
2.Process air (heated) enters drum to absorb moisture and dry load.
3.Process air (heated wet) enters the condenser, is cooled releasing moisture. Moisture collects in the tub and is removed from the unit through the drain pump.
4.Process air (cool dry) exits the condenser.
5.Process air (cool dry) enters heater and is reheated.
6.Process air (heated) re-enters drum to absorb more moisture and dry load. There's no hot air that's emitted into the room. Reach out if you have any other questions. Mike@GEA

Its important to understand that heat pump dryers work totally different from standard dryer. The previous comment did talk through the process and without a visual it can be hard to follow. 
Short answer to the question is there is not really any access heat or cooling that comes from the unit.

Now as far as the process to dry the cloths. its a process of warm the air enters the tumbler then push that warm air across a very cold radiator making all the water condense and then that air is warmed again and pushed back into the tumbler. this process continues till the condenser does not get much water and then the unit considers the load done.

I've had this unit for almost 90 days.  I don't sense a cooling effect.  However these units will provide a dehumidifier effect.

No. This uses the same components as a refrigerator. For the exact same reason you can't cool your kitchen by leaving the refrigerator open, you can not cool a room with this appliance. If you leave your fridge open all day, the temperature in the room will actually increase as the compressor runs, creating more heat than the evaporator coil can remove. This combo unit will also cause a net increase in the room temperature unless you take it apart and move the condenser coil outside (in which case you have created the same split system air conditioner used in most homes).
