Hey there. Our Combo is indeed Energy Star qualified, with an average annual energy cost for the washer of $19 (if you’re using an electric water heater, and costs may vary based on use and utility rates). Our Combo is so game changing that the Department of Energy doesn’t yet have a way to effectively evaluate an all-in-one wash and dry. We can advise that the dryer does use heat pump technology, and is 50% more energy efficient compared to the standard Energy Star qualifications for an electric dryer. Regarding any reimbursement, we recommend checking with your local utility company and/or local government for details on current programs for tax credit, rebates, etc. on an Energy Star rated product.
