I see that you don't recommend using vinegar in this machine because it is acidic, is it okay to use Downy Rinse and Refresh? Rinse and Refersh says it is okay to use in any HE machine but its first ingredient is citric acid. null

We use vinegar in this machine but we add some baking soda. It works great as a softener in the baking soda will deacitify the vinegar. Mix it slowly because it'll foam over

Hey there – we’re glad you reached out! Citric acid based products, such as Cerama Bryte Washer Cleaner and Dr. Bronner's Sals Suds, are not recommended for use in the Combo.
