“Why isn't there a cutout hole on the sides of this 27" model like there is on the 24" model? A rep at GE said there was but when it was delivered there was not one. Can I cut one out myself on one side so I can vent it thru the side?”

• Hello Karen - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The 27" washer/dryer combination unit does not have knock out holes for side venting, nor should you cut them. Please follow the Installation Instructions on page 9 for 27" models dryer exhaust to right, left or bottom cabinet. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

• There is an indent of where the side cut out needs to be cut on mine.
