Thumps, bumps, bangs, rattles, grinding, shaking, walking, or vibrating during agitation or the spin cycle typically occur after installation. If you are experiencing these sounds and the washer was recently installed, check the following: The shipping rod or shipping material was not removed during installation of the washer. Or, if the shipping rod or material was removed, then the washer may not be leveled properly. If the washer has been in use for some time and it is making one of these sounds, verify the washer is still level.
