Hi Stumpy- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering our GE UNITIZED SPACEMAKER® 3.2 DOE CU. FT. WASHER AND 5.9 CU. FT. ELECTRIC DRYER GUD27ESSJWW! The approximate product dimensions are as follows: (WxHxD) (in.) 26 4/5 in x 75 1/2 in x 30 17/20 in. Minimum clearances between dryer cabinet and adjacent walls or other surfaces are: 0" either side and rear, 1" front and top. Minimum vertical space from floor to overhead cabinets, ceilings, etc. is 76-1/2." the dryer is deeper in the rear than the washer. The overhang is 4" past the back panel of the washer, which means it sticks out past the vent, electrical, and plumbing connections. The dryer can sit up against a wall without adding any extra depth to the unit. This provides space for the connections in the rear. Because of this overhang, the unit does not need knockouts to vent to the left or right side. The vent elbow can be turned left, right, or down as needed.
