Hello Gatorgirl, I am happy to help. The washer will adapt within the cycle and from load to load, so the actual water use will vary. The minimum water used is 12 gallons and maximum is 22 gallons. The cycle run times do not include the time it takes to fill or drain. For permanent press it takes approximately 13-22, if you add fabric softener option add 3.5 min. Keep in mind the fill and drain times are not included so it will be longer. I hope this helps. Lisa from GE Appliances.
