• I googled the model #, based on the model # & red background/packaging it is the newer version with the longer battery life. Under specifications it says 90 day warranty, I'm calling to see if an additional warranty can be added?

• This is the newer version but it only comes with a 90 day warranty. I am wondering why this was refurbished to begin with. I wonder if it is a Joy-con issue or if someone just returned it. I didn't see an extended warranty offered. You can purchase a SquareTrade 3 year extended warranty for either $49.95 or the accident warranty plan which is $74.99 which covers cracked screens or water damage: https://www.squaretrade.com/all-plans?cat=Gaming%20Gear
