Hello, Greg. If you are using the camera to view the outside part of your home and this camera is situated in front of a glassed window will bounce back and will blind the camera. If your purpose is to use this camera to view the outside part of your house clearly we advise that you physically place the camera outside the window to eliminate the glare, hence we would like to set your expectation that this is an indoor camera. Please try again later.hey i use all 3 wifi cameras through a window i did have glare at first til i turned off the auto night vision in the basic setting and as long as u have a light out side works great u can see up to about 12 feet pretty clear up to 18 feet kinda dark and shadows
