“ a lot” is not a answer. The higher the ohms means the speaker is more efficient. That means the speaker needs less power to get the same volume. Less ohms requires more power from your amplifier. It’s very important to have everything matched. If your speakers are 8ohm then your amplifier needs to handle 8 ohms. This is the same for 2 and 4 ohms. If you use 2-4 ohms on a 8 ohm speaker you will blow them out soon after you turn up the volume. The higher the ohms requires less watts. Lower end speakers/systems are 8-16 ohms. Higher end is usually 4 ohms. 2ohms for high power subs.
