Q: Questionwould need two to bi-amp? klipsch rp280?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer In order to bi-amp two speakers, you would indeed need two of these... Unless you're using this to supplement a decent AVR that you can dial in to be one of the two amps of the bi-amp system (probably AVR for highs and this for lows, since the THD on this isn't spectacular and i think you'd notice it less just pushing low end.). TLDR if you just have a preamp for your source, you will need two of these to bi-amp a pair of RP280's

Q: QuestionHow do you connect this to an existing receiver to add power to my speakers?
Asked by Gus.
- A:Answer I don't know what receiver you have but if it's a high end receiver it should have pre-outs, that you would use to hook up this amp to. What you would be doing is basically bypassing your existing receivers' amps and using this amp. That's because all of your speakers would now be connected to this amp. So, I would be asking myself, would adding this amp improve the sound and if so, by how much to justify the cost of this amp. Note: If your not using XLR then your not getting the most out of this amp. You would want to use this amp with a Maranth pre-amp like the AV7706 or if your really have more money to spend, the AV8805. Remember, this is Magnolia.

Q: QuestionHow much power does it makes with 8 Ohms???
Asked by VINODKUMAR.
- A:Answer “ a lot” is not a answer. The higher the ohms means the speaker is more efficient. That means the speaker needs less power to get the same volume. Less ohms requires more power from your amplifier. It’s very important to have everything matched. If your speakers are 8ohm then your amplifier needs to handle 8 ohms. This is the same for 2 and 4 ohms. If you use 2-4 ohms on a 8 ohm speaker you will blow them out soon after you turn up the volume. The higher the ohms requires less watts. Lower end speakers/systems are 8-16 ohms. Higher end is usually 4 ohms. 2ohms for high power subs.

Q: QuestionWill this work for 2 10 inch sub in my home theater
Asked by Cheeto.
- A:Answer You can use a power amplifier for subs. 1st you will need your speakers match your amplifier in ohms. Very important. Second you will need an Equalizer processor with subwoofer outs or something that only lets low’s signal to get threw. Also gain control. Without the ability to control the gain and low signal you won’t get subwoofer lows or the volume to your subwoofer. You can use a car subwoofer for this. Smash any home theater subwoofer with power you feel in your chest. I hope this helps. The gain control is the input signal to your amplifier. If you don’t have gain control you won’t have enough volume from your stereo to hear the sub. The gain helps with this problem.
