You can use a power amplifier for subs. 1st you will need your speakers match your amplifier in ohms. Very important. Second you will need an Equalizer processor with subwoofer outs or something that only lets low’s signal to get threw. Also gain control. Without the ability to control the gain and low signal you won’t get subwoofer lows or the volume to your subwoofer. You can use a car subwoofer for this. Smash any home theater subwoofer with power you feel in your chest. I hope this helps. The gain control is the input signal to your amplifier. If you don’t have gain control you won’t have enough volume from your stereo to hear the sub. The gain helps with this problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will...Amps don't know speaker size, it's the power rating on the speakers that matters. More power is better then less, just listen for clipping (distortion) at high volume and turn it down until everything is clear again.
