“I was just wondering, can this game be played with 1 hand? I only have use of 1 hand but I know I've played all other GOW's & beat them. I just don't have the $ to spend on something I can't play. Thx”

Although im not skilled in one-handed play, if you are, i don't see why not. There's a few button mapping customization options that may help too.

From what I remember of God of War 3, the combat and mechanics were not too difficult. There was a lot of button mashing to string things together, and you could manage just fine switching off between moving and attacking. The combat changed for this game. You move with the left stick and click it to run. You attack with R1 and R2. You can also throw your weapon by holding L2 and then using the right stick to aim and R2 to throw it. If you got through The Last of Us with one hand, you'll be able to get through this.

If you’ve played “the last of us” that would be the best comparison I could give you for the gameplay. If you played that game with no issues then you should be fine. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. The combat grows increasingly complex over the course of the game and requires all shoulder and face buttons, plus both analog sticks. Unlike the prior GoW's the camera is not fixed. You can lock on enemies but I think it would still be problematic. Whenever I'd try and eat&play I'd always pause whenever it got to a combat section...

The problems I could see are that you couldn't block easily (blocking is also tied to runic attacks), and you have to control the camera as well as movement in this game, so combat could be a chore, but I don't see why it would be impossible to play this game one handed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt there are many, if any, videogames you could easily play with only 1 hand. Maybe there's a prostetic that could help, but you're probably better off with board games like chess
