I connected mine to the 2.4ghz wifi signal I currently have and it connected like a breeze. If you have problems connecting it to your wifi network, check the router manual for any blocking feature it may be active (mine has firewall on and it did not give me any problem connecting). I gotta say though, I do not have the exact model you are asking about, but the theory is the same for every brand.
