I cast from my Tablets (iPad and Asus) and I cast from my iPhone. To answer your question about your specific tablet model, you might want to call Google Chromecast customer service. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As far as will it work I would guess yes for netflix, youtube and Google play as my Samsung s6 does and tab s does. But neither will CAST on this 2015 round one where they did on the stick. So where Google got involved with an app they seem to work. There seems to be a problem standardizing this CAST though. Sorry I don't know about the tab 3, just saying what I've found out. I've been pleased with the apps mentioned, but would have returned my 2 new ones if I'd tested the cast earlier.
