• For input....You can cast from almost any handheld device or computer...it's all wireless, you don't need to connect anything other than it to your TV For output, if you have it plugged into your TV, just run your sounds like you do for TV Think of it as a DVD player, it connects pretty much the same.

• Hi, you get an app called google cast and that is what controls the chromcast app

• chromecast is directly connected to your tv via the usb port so you can only use one tv at a time but you can use multiple computers/phones/ipads etc to cast media from by downloading the chromecast app and linking each device to the chromecast.
