Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want an Audio Only connection, get a Chromecast Audio. The Chromecast (standard) has HDMI Video and Audio combined into one HDMI output only. You would need and HDMI to Audio converter. That would cost way more than a Chromecast Audio. But, remember that if you want send Video to one device (monitor) AND separate Audio to another device, an Audio Converter might be your only option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.audio output via hdmi only, suggest using your tv output....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wrong product, but yes, that's the one you need for the Chromecast Audio if that's the connection you have on the back of the speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Chromecast is intended to be connected to a HDMI port in a TV set. I has only 2 connectors: HDMI output and the USB connector for the power supply. So it won't work with speakers as it hasn't the connectors. When you plug it in the HDMI port of your TV and watch a movie or video, you will be able to direct the audio from the TV to the external speakers, the same way you do when watching regular TV or a DVD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an hdmi - hdmi+audio adapter. Using that I can attach the chromecast to speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the speakers don't have their own power plant. Or sub, it would not work, but a 3.5mm audio jack to rca is usually what is needed, however it depends on what you connect it to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not possible. You need an amplifier to the speakers that inputs the signal from the Chromecast. Look up home audio receivers on Best Buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This Chromecast will not connect directly to speakers unless your audio system supports HDMI input. What you need for that (and that would use the 3.5mm jack) is the Chromecast Audio
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ChromeCast can not connect directly to speakers. It can connect to a TV first, then connect the TV to an amplifier via a digital or analog cable, then connect speakers via two sets of 2 conductor speaker cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
