If you use Hangouts with Google Chrome and cast that tab it would work for what you need, but you have to use a laptop with a Camera b/c chromecast does not have a camera or mic built in with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are able to cast your entire screen with the chromecast App from a mobile device, or any single tab from the chrome browser on a laptop. So yes, with Google Hangouts on a phone or on a laptop you would be able to put the hangout on a larger screen through Chromecast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you would need to use the Google Chrome Browser (instead of Firefox, IE, etc) and do what is called "tab" cast. Which means that anything in your Google Chrome Browser will cast through your Chromecast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.sure. Check out http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/simplest-way-chromecast-hangout/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually not for all the phones...... Only Samsung from S5-S6 Note 3-4-5... They Have option of screen mirroring compatible with Chromecast That you can project everything on the phone screen to Chromacast, But you still have to have your Phone in your hand because camera and mic stays with phone!!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can do that through screen mirroring your device through chromecast app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as screen mirroring works with whatever app you're using it should work fine. It might cause feedback on the other user's end as the TV will output the sound and your phone will pick it back up again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not see why you couldn't if you have the Chromecast app installed and running on the same device and have the cast screen feature turned on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not unless you ran it through an android device with the ability to screen mirror.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not from a phone, but a quick Google search shows that people have found ways to do Hangouts through a laptop/desktop. "The Simplest Ways to Chromecast your Hangouts" from "Make Use Off" has an article.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
